We are a small group of accomplished specialists of different backgrounds: marketing, IT, education, media, book publishing, and blogging. This diversity of careers and professions within the team is essential as our product remains a journey of experimentation.
Delivering knowledge and facilitating a better understanding of the world is a multifaceted process. Every member of the team contributes from the wealth of their experience.
Nerdish is pretty much a dream project: we are making something we have always wanted to use ourselves.
In essence, we keep doing what we can do best: producing informative and engaging texts. We believe the Internet has a lot of great educational and entertaining content; still, we put enough of our spin on it to offer a unique product.
A lot of research and experimentation went into perfecting the format of the texts to make them approachable, easy-to-read, inclusive, factual, and to the point.
Every short article inside our app is a product of several people’s work.
First, we come up with a thing to ask. When we have a question, we explore the answers from the standpoints of different scientific disciplines. When planning an article, we combine the most exciting perspectives to explore the topic from all sides.
We prioritize facts over opinions in our writing: opinions are your job as a reader. In essence, we don’t write anything you cannot find in open sources and studies. Instead, we condense hours of investigation and fact-checking into a 10-minute read for you to enjoy when you have spare time.
Our ambitious goal is to cover every aspect of human knowledge and activity. Still, we understand that we’re far from it, but we dabble with as many fields of science as we can.
We started the project in late 2020; the app went live in summer 2021. As of early 2022, we have made 100 articles. It is enough to provide you with dozens of hours to read and discover fascinating things. You can learn about science, technology, arts, history, psychology, and your own body.
We strive for a healthy mix of serious articles, in-depth scientific topics, and interesting facts about everyday things.
We designed Nerdish to be used on the go—that means you can put as much or as little time into it as you are able. However, it would be best to log in at least once a week. Several of our articles (and our blog) go into detail about the benefits of lifelong, regular learning.
While the app is self-sufficient, we are happy if it nudges you to become more proactive in learning on your own. After all, Nerdish is here for you to become a more knowledgeable, adaptable, and inquisitive person.
The development is far from finished, and we are constantly planning and researching more features that can help you on this journey of self-development. So be sure to explore everything the app has to offer and make use of what suits you best.

The app includes several subscription plans: many of us are working on this project full-time, and we’d like to keep doing so with your support. However, we have recently made every text available for free after watching an advertisement.
